Career Guidance



Career Guidance units in the Higher Secondary Schools are started to guide the students in planning a career of their own by pursuing the right course to achieve their aim.

We have a section showing the activities of CG & AC of St.Joseph`s Higher Secondary School ,pullurampara under the Department of Higher Secondary Education. Activities of Career Guidance cell in the school will be narrated in this section. This is not an official website of the DHSE, only aims to give information about the activities undertaken by the school Cell.

Activities of the Career Guidance units are aimed to help the students to identify their strength and limitations so as to set the right goal in their career. The Career Guides in the schools will help the students to update on latest trends in career development. As part of the activities, classes on different subjects related to Career Guidance are conducted at schools.The major problem faced by the school is the non-availability of time . Hence school cell has decided to to conduct classes related to career guidance.

Choose the right career

As apart of career day celebration a special assambly was organised in the school auditorium on 01-08-14.There was an inspiring talk by career guide Mr.Jimmy Joseph on the topic "Suitable career Life"

A Career Orientation Programme for Commerce Students.

The school Career Guidence club conducted a class on the topic "Career Opportunities" for commerce students and the relevance of taking courses likeCA,CS,etc.The class was taken by Mr.Thankachen MJ (Chartered Accountant)

Careers in Science

A career class for science students was organised under the auspices of the school career guidence club.Helping the students who plan to pursue a science-oriented career.Mr.Saji Thomas Koorapilli( HSST at St.Sebastian's HSS Koodaranji) took the classes.

A Seminar on Student's Higher studies and Parental Anxieties.

A seminar was conducted in the school on the topic "Student's Higher studies and Parental Anxieties" in two sessions on 22-11-2015. Mrs.Smitha presented the seminar topic "Parental Anxieties" in the morning session followed by Mr.Baby Arun on the topic "Studient's Higher Studies".
