Examination

Examination

There are three Terminal Examinations in the course of the year. In addition, Cycle tests are conducted every month for all classes. The minimum marks for a pass is 35% in all subjects. Valued answer scripts will be returned to the students and the marks will be entered in the Progress Card  by the Class Teacher. Moreover, students marks will be sent to their parents via SMS immediately after the distribution of the answer scripts.

No student will be allowed to be absent from any examinations/tests etc. without the prior permission from the Principal.

Tests and internal assessment will be conducted on a regular basis. The final result will be based on the average of the marks obtained in the tests, internal assessment and continuous evaluation.

There can be no anticipation or postponement of any test paper. When students are ill, they should not be sent to answer any test. In case of illness, the final result will be settled on the basis of the terms’s work and general performance during the year.

Wilful breach of any regulation for the conduct of an examination is punishable with expulsion from the examination or if subsequently discovered, the cancellation of the answer script.

Students who have failed for two years consecutively will not be allowed to continue their study in this school. Those who have completed their courses for Higher Secondary School certificate are obliged to leave the school.

No student should approach the class teacher for private tuitions.

Results declared  are final in all cases and will not be reconsidered.
